The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour ($150) earphones are up for pre-sale on Apple’s site. Monster hasn’t released the details but we all know Apple operates above all others. These earphones promise to deliver in-ear noise isolation, big bass, the “world’s first” tangle free cord in addition to the usual hoopla of gold contacts, magnetic design and fairy dust (just kidding on the fairy dust). They look promising on paper but are competing in a Shure-ly crowded market of mid to high end ear phones.
The Beats by Dre Tour earphones follow the Beats by Dre Studio ($300) headphones and continue the co-sign by Dr. Dre to deliver music the way artists hear it with the proper bass levels, dynamics and detail so that you can listen to music just like Dre.
