The BMW Group has a certain fascination with combining art and cars (17 and counting) where the car serves as the paintbrush and/or canvas. The group’s MINI brand is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a mulitude of projects and events. The most recent is “Wash Me” which is a 100 page book that features 10 MINI designed by 10 artists who are working with the car as the medium for the first time. The boook features detailed photographs of the artists (Smash137, Dieter Meier, Fabian Bertschinger, Marisa Pichler and Gigi Burn, Tika, Euro, Aurel Sack, August, Rémy Jaccard and Stefan Ege, and Seak) at work and also include sketches and preview text.
